APOGEE offers a series of Healthy Living Workshops that support our integrative approach to wellness. Each course was developed in part by APOGEE's Integrative Health Advisor, Woodson Merrell, MD, one of the country’s leading holistic physicians with more than 25 years of experience.
NOURISH BASICS
Optimize your body with APOGEE’s Nourish Basics Program, a four-week course that teaches you how to choose foods that will change your body – for the better. Learn how food can boost your energy, metabolism and health. Presented by the APOGEE team of nutritionists, these four one-hour small-group classes will give you the tools to make small, manageable changes that will improve your relationship with food and show measurable results.
Course topics include:
• How to shop, cook and eat out in a new and healthy way
• How to choose foods that will create healthy function and normal weight
• How certain foods accelerate aging; how other foods slow it
• How to use a journal to set personal goals and make changes that last
You'll receive:
• Four one-hour group classes
• Ongoing support through email, Facebook and text messaging
• Personalized journal with class notes and tracking diary
• Resources and lists for dining out, shopping and snacking

APOGEE UNWIND
In APOGEE’s four-week Unwind course you will learn to manage stress by turning on your body’s calming system, boosting your energy, focus and metabolism.
Unwind and reach your goals:
• Learn how stress works against your efforts to achieve health and normal weight.
• Experience simple but effective techniques for turning on your body’s natural calming systems.
• Make small manageable changes in your day to re-balance your body and create calm and awareness.
• Receive handy resources to help you unwind in a new and healthy way.
• Integrate strategies, including breathing and movement, that will reduce the negative impact of stress in you life.
• Receive coaching and support from practitioners in group meetings, on Facebook and text messages.
• Enjoy group meetings where you can share your experiences
