APOGEE Pilates & Wellness Centers offer a wide variety of Pilates classes to Westchester, NY, residents.  Each Pilates class is tailored to meet your individual needs. You can choose from an assortment of mat Pilates classes, Pilates Reformer workouts and other equipment classes to build core muscles, increase flexibility and reduce stress. MAT & CARDIO CLASSES

Pilates Mat Classes

Offered at several levels, APOGEE’s Pilates mat classes focus on breathing technique, pre-Pilates mat exercises and mastery of the mat Pilates principles.

Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa yoga is “meditation in motion,” synchronizing breath with movement and linking basic yoga postures with beautiful music, insights and poetry. Be prepared to strengthen and stretch your muscles, ligaments and joints, cultivate self-awareness and honor your inner wisdom.

Hatha Yoga
An accessible and eclectic blend of different styles of yoga designed to tone and stretch the whole body, relieve stress and create a deep experience of well being. Hatha Yoga uses alignment-based postures (asanas) and stretches in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and relaxation.

Restorative Yoga by Candlelight
A Kripalu-style yoga class focusing on stretch and relaxation.


Cardio Circuit^
This class moves you through all of the cardio equipment, including treadmills and bicycles.

 
Zumba

A fun class incorporating dance moves and Latin music that works up a sweat and burns calories.

 

 

Pilates & Props
In this class we use Magic Circles, bands, weights, balls and/or foam rollers to create a challenging bone- and muscle-building workout.

Pilates with Weights
Reconnect to the powerhouse and revitalize your practice as you flow through a series of exercises designed to challenge core muscles utilizing free weights.

Stability Ball Class
Cultivate and maintain strength and endurance in all major muscle groups as you train with a stability ball. This Pilates class emphasizes the Pilates principles of centering and precision. (Athletic shoes recommended)

Teen Pilates
Join your peers and improve your balance, strength and flexibility. Develop core strength for better posture as well as improved sports performance and injury prevention.

PILATES EQUIPMENT CLASSES

Apparatus Semi^
This workout combines work on the mat, reformer, and tower.This class is fun, safe and effective and will increase strength, flexibility, stability and stamina. Come prepared to have fun and sweat!
Level: Introduction

 

Tower*^^
This class utilizes a wall-hung, spring-resistive apparatus. You will begin with mat work, then move to exercises using spring resistance to simultaneously strengthen and lengthen the entire body.
Levels: Intro, Beginner, Beginner/Intermediate, Open

MVe™ Chair Class (sometimes ^)
If you like Pilates Reformer workouts, you'll love the MVe™ Chair. With this challenging piece of equipment, you will reap all the benefits of Pilates classes; a long, lean look and sculpted abs.

Express MVe™ Chair Workout (sometimes ^)
The MVe™ Chair provides a challenging workout. This "express" workout can either warm you up for your next class, add an extra "pump" from your previous workout or—if all you have is 30 minutes—will give you a fun half-hour of toning, cardio and Pilates techniques.
