CARDIO CLASSES

Power Yoga
This flowing vinyasa class focuses on strength while building flexibility and balancing the body. Be prepared to sweat!

Spinning®
A group cardiovascular workout on stationary bicycles.

Spin Express
A 45-minute group cycling class that packs more intensity into less time.

Cardio Cross Training
A high-energy cardio class using plyometrics and strength training.

Cardio Kick & Core
Cardio power hour with core and body sculpting intervals.

Intense Interval Training*
This most intense class on our schedule, this workout focuses on functional movements with explosive intervals.

Zumba® 
A fun, moving Latin dance class. Have a great time dancing while losing inches. 

STRENGTH FITNESS CLASSES


Strength & Sculpt
An all-inclusive strength training class that promotes bone density, muscular endurance and body alignment. Each instructor has his or her own take on it.

Strength on the Ball
A strength training class using a stability ball.

Strength for Seniors
This strength training and cardiovascular class is designed especially for our members over age 60.

 




APOGEE F.I.T. PROGRAMS*


APOGEE F.I.T. (Functional Integrative Training) classes are core-based, total-body workouts that build strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. The next best thing to personal training, these small group classes incorporate the latest exercise equipment to give you an efficient, results-oriented workout every time.

Kettlebells*
Our instructors alternate strength drills and cardio intervals using round, cast-iron kettlebell weights. Engage your core and build total-body strength as you control the swing of the kettlebell.

Kettlebell/Tabata Circuit*
Experience the best of both classes while you build total-body strength, cardiovascular endurance and coordination.

CORE INTERGRATION


Pilates Mat

Our Power Pilates Mat Program focuses on strengthening the core through movement. At APOGEE, Joseph Pilates’ classical work can be practiced at the beginner and intermediate levels, all the way up to the most challenging advanced level. 

Pilates with Weights
A series of exercises designed to challenge core muscles utilizing free weights. Level: Open.

Pilates on the Ball
During this class we use various types of balls to deepen and challenge the connection to the powerhouse.

Tower*
This class utilizes a wall-hung, apparatus to combine Pilates matwork with exercises using spring resistance that strengthen and lengthen the entire body. Levels: Intro, Open.  Prerequisite: Proficient in Beginner Mat




 

UNWIND


Beginner Yoga
A gentle approach for those new to yoga or who find it difficult to stretch.

Dancing Yoga*
A yoga class choreographed to music.  You must experience this wonderful combination!

MELT
The MELT Method is a self-treatment technique that helps prevent pain, heal injuries and erase negative effects of aging and active living.

Restorative Yoga 
A Kripalu style yoga class focusing on stretch and relaxation.

Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa yoga is “meditation in motion,” synchronizing breath with movement.
