Having worked in the alternative healthcare industry for over 25 years, Holly strongly believes in the body's ability to heal itself when given the right tools. She is a Power Pilates Certified Teacher, Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Professional Level Kripalu Yoga Instructor and Mentor, and a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist. Lesly Levy
Director of Pilates and Pilates Programming
The former owner of Mindful Moves Pilates Center in Westchester, NY, Lesly is a Senior-Level Teacher Trainer for Power Pilates, helping to certify and educate classical Pilates instructors locally and nationally. Lesly has been involved in the fitness industry for more than 17 years and holds four Pilates certifications: Physicalmind Institute, Pilates Method Alliance (Gold Certified), Power Pilates and Power Pilates Teacher Trainer. Selected as “one of the best Pilates instructors” by Westchester magazine in 2004, Lesly also has a vast knowledge of injuries, injury prevention and kinesiology. Lesly believes that the best teachers are those who never stop learning, and so maintains her studies with both Bob Liekens and Susan Moran-Perich from Power Pilates as well as renowned anatomist Irene Dowd. While directing the Pilates Program here at APOGEE, Lesly will continue to work with her long-standing local clientele as well as teaching certifications and workshops in New York and internationally. Jane Nielsen
Fitness Manager
Jane Nielsen has been involved with health and personal fitness for the past 15 years. She came to Women for Fitness in 2002 and has been with Apogee since September, 2008, after an extensive experience at Mount Kisco Athletic Club and Quest, a private training studio in Armonk, NY. At Mount Kisco Athletic Club, she was responsible for bringing Spinning into the facility which developed into the clubs most successful group exercise program. Jane has earned certifications in Personal Training, Spinning and Advanced Reebok Cycling. Jane’s clients range from Junior Olympic figure skaters, competitive cyclists and other athletes to women reaching their post pregnancy or personal fitness goals. Cathy Decker
Manager, APOGEE White Plains
Cathy has been working in management positions in the holistic health field for 15 years. She has a performing arts background and has always integrated her holistic beliefs with movement and performance. For ten years, Cathy was a manager at Angelica Kitchen, a long-standing organic-vegan restaurant in Manhattan. During this time, she was a devoted student of ashtanga yoga and was introduced to Pilates. Cathy strongly believes that the connection of body, mind and spirit leads to complete wellness.
Staci Rosenberg, LMSW, CEC
Life Coach
Staci Rosenberg, LMSW, CEC, has been practicing as a life coach and psychotherapist since 1997 and has worked with a wide variety of clientele, from early childhood to the elderly, in outpatient psychiatry and private practice both in Westchester and Bronx counties. Staci formed Live a Life by Design, LLC in 2007 and is a certified Life Coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation. Persephone Zill, MBA
Life Coach
Persephone Zill, MBA, has been a Career and Life Coach since 1997. She holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Baruch College and a BA from Barnard College and served for over five years in the leadership of the International Coach Federation (Westchester County Chapter). As a lifelong student, she was recently ordained as an interfaith minister through One Spirit Learning Alliance. Persephone helps clients to unfold their innermost dreams, desires and passions and encourages them to live them more fully. “My approach is to help clients see possibility, navigate challenges and define a realistic course of action for the positive change they want in their lives,” says Persephone. Orlando Ocasio, LMT
Massage Therapist
Orlando Ocasio has a lifetime of massage experience. Originally taught massage by his father, Orlando has gone on to study 13 massage modalities, including Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Anma (Asian energy massage) as well as Japanese medical massage and western medical massage. Before beginning his career as a full-time massage therapist, Orlando was a medical illustrator and worked as an assistant during surgery, both of which have expanded his knowledge of the human body. Lauren Brandstadter, LMT
Massage Therapist
Lauren Brandstadter has practiced massage for more than 18 years. She received her initial certification from the Swedish Institute and has since studied close to 20 bodywork techniques, including Lomi Lomi in Hawaii and Rapa Nui massage in Polynesia. Specializing in Swedish massage, medical massage, post-surgical massage and post-traumatic massage, Lauren incorporates her breadth of knowledge into every massage to create a truly therapeutic, spiritually uplifting, stress-relieving experience.
