APOGEE Life Style President Irv Cohen announced the addition of two new appointments to the Westchester APOGEE Pilates & Wellness Centers staff. Holly J. Niles has been appointed Manager of APOGEE’s flagship White Plains facility, and Lesly Levy is Director of Pilates and Pilates Programming at APOGEE in White Plains and Bedford Hills.

APOGEE Pilates & Wellness Centers recently opened a Bedford Hills location in the former Women For Fitness at 170 Harris Road. To celebrate with current members and welcome the public to the newly renovated APOGEE facility, APOGEE is sponsoring a month-long September charity drive supporting Gilda’s Club Westchester. The event will culminate in a Grand Opening celebration and day of awareness on Saturday, October 3, 2009, from 7am to 3pm.

More than 1,053 Westchester children from 14 schools in Westchester participated in the APOGEE Fit Kids Challenge, County Executive Andy Spano today announced. This do-it yourself activity invited students to award themselves points for engaging in physical activity, limiting their TV and gaming time and eating healthy snacks. It engaged parents in the process by asking them to sign off on their accomplishments.
